Dr. Zareen Delawar Hussain is the most diversified and pioneer Health care professional,
entrepreneur and philanthropist in Bangladesh with significant accomplishments in all arena
where she stepped. Professionally a Cardiothoracic anesthesiologist and her 30 years
incessant learning, dedication and commitment made her distinctive, well connective and
confident. She played a significant role in advocating palliative care concepts in Bangladesh
together with the team of Centre of Palliative Care in building a compassionate society. She
is an iconic first-generation female start up entrepreneur who initiated Invicta Pharma Care
Limited for bringing world hit high tech pharma products & devices in Bangladesh at
affordable price. Later she became a share holder of mid-size pharmaceutical Manufacturer
for introducing specialized health care products for Bangladesh and Global market. Dr. Zareen
is the founder Director and CEO of Integro Pharma Limited which constitutes of a
manufacturing plant in Oman. The group also an authorized distributor of USPharma Brand
product for entire Asia. Over the last decade, Dr. Zareen has become an influential voice in
the country for establishing women empowerment, gender violence and stop child marriage.
Dr. Zareen is a committed Zontian and also the charter President of Zonta club of Greater
Dhaka. She is the popular media personality who is anchoring various health related shows
in most of the television channels. Dr. Zareen has a clear mindset and keen eyes to expand
her pharma industry in Arab Peninsula, Europe and US through either acquisition, merger or
technology transfer. As key note speaker Dr. Zareen has participated many Pharma
Conference and scientific congress.
Dr. Zareen completed her MBBS in 1989 from Chittagong Medical College. She completed her
post-graduation in Anesthesiology from Dhaka University. She completed fellowship in
Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology from Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center, New Delhi,
India. She also completed her basic certification course in palliative medicine from BSMMU.
She is certified on Entrepreneurial Edge from London Business School as one of the top
finalist.
Dr. Zareen Delawar Hussain represented Bangladesh Pharma Industry at the 20th Middle
East Pharma congress in Istanbul and chaired the conference committee and was
also a Keynote Speaker.
Dr. Zareen Delawar Hussain received “Women Excellency Award” at the International
Conference titled ‘Pharma Nest 2020: Shaping the Future of Pharma Industry New Era
Innovation in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Bioscience’. Dr. Zareen was the
chief guest and also a speaker of the International Conference organized by Operant
Pharmacy Federation.
Recently she has been conferred as ‘101 Most Fabulous Global Healthcare Leaders
– 2020’ by World Health & Wellness Congress on 14th February 2020 in a gala
evening in Taj Lands Mumbai attended by many Pharma and Healthcare stalwarts.
From Bangladesh She is the first person who received such awards.
She has also been conferred International Excellency Award on 15th February 2020 in
the category of Healthcare Leadership Excellency Award by Operant Pharmacy Federation.
She has also been conferred in the 7th World Women Leadership Congress as a ‘Women
Super Achiever Award 2020’ on 17th February by the World Health and Wellness
Congress.
Dr. Zareen Delawar Hussain will receive an award for Excellence in women entrepreneur
in health care on 6th April by Pharmaceutical Royal International Society (PRISAL) in
Maldives international conference 2020. She will also chair the session.
She had been interviewed by The Economic Times of India which is a milestone as this is
the first time in Bangladesh a health and pharma individual has been enlightened in Economic
Times.
